Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Drinking, Dishing and Dancing Queen

Like the ABBA song goes, “the night is young and the music’s high.” So why not heed the wise words of everyone’s favorite Swedish pop group and take to the town this weekend to enjoy some much-deserved fun. We can’t promise you’ll “feel the beat from the tambourine,” but you can check out high-fashion threads, nosh on naughty hors d’oeuvres or celebrate your own VH1 “whatever happened to that band” moment.

DIFFA Cinéma de la Vie Preview Party
Tonight, 7 – 9 p.m.
The words Haute Couture and Denim may have never been used in the same sentence before, but Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA/Dallas) is changing that. The organization turns once de rigueur denim jackets into unforgettable works of art all in the name of philanthropy. Guests of the preview party get a sneak peek at the 2008 Jacket Collection. Prepare your eyes for one million Cubic Zirconias worth of sparkle and flash.

$20 donation at the door.

Naughty & Nice Happy Hour

The motif changes nightly depending on her mood and impish inclinations. Drink specials include $2 off cocktails and wine by the glass and $3 beers – now that’s nice.

These ‘80s rocker girls won your heart with “Johnny Are You Queer?” Little did you know that it would be the same question your date would ask on prom night. See if they’ve still got the beat. C’mon now everybody, get on your feet.
