The Freshness Factor

At the risk of sounding like a certain iconic TV commercial, “sometimes we don’t feel so fresh.” But this time rather than broaching an awkward conversation with mom and a national audience, we’re heading to Zoë’s Kitchen where they know what freshness is all about. Well, at least when it comes to food.

Boasting an easy-to-peruse, yet bountiful-enough-to-enjoy menu, Zoë’s is a great way to get your fast food on without the greasy guilt. Enjoy chicken in just about every variety, including as salad, on pitas or in roll-ups. There are even chicken kabobs and baked chicken dinners for four if you want to impose your new healthy eating kick on some unsuspecting dinner guests.

On top of tasty poultry, there’s a Mediterranean influence that makes Zoë’s extra yummy. You can find a tasty combo of feta cheese, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and the signature Zoë’s Dressing (oil and vinegar on steroids) in just about every dish. Or, go for the Zoë’s Famous Slaw which is great on its own or garnishing a pita.

If the whole fresh, healthy eating thing makes you feel a little too Goody Two-Shoes, round out the meal with Zoë’s one dessert offering: Yaya’s Homemade Chocolate Sheet Cake. Now that is some good sheet.
