Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Hot Enough For Ya?

We don’t know about you, but there’s nothing sexy to us about sweating in the hot Texas sun. Unless the sweating is being done by an Abercrombie & Fitch model in our backyard pool feeding us Ding-Dongs and Sunny D (grapes are so cliché). But if we must venture outdoors, it’s nice to have some sort of distraction. Even if it’s not a guy in a square-cut. Fortunately, there are some air-conditioned options as well to help you keep your cool.

Sing Out, Sister!
Voice of Pride

David Cook may be your American Idol, but nobody with that haircut could possibly be gay, so root for a singer of the GLBT persuasion in this annual singing competition that also doubles as a good tour of gay bars in town. This next week features preliminary rounds at Buddies II: The Revenge, Tin Room, Dallas Eagle and JR’s. Best of all, it’s not too late to enter for your chance at local fame, and $5,000 in fortune, plus other fabulous prizes.
