As a kid, we loved LEGOS. They really helped to give Barbie’s Dream House that Mid-Century Modern look that it was so desperately missing.
Plus Bobby Sampson was obsessed with them. And even though we didn’t realize it at the time, we were obsessed with him. Who cares if he had a bowl cut and braces, he also had our heart. And he probably could have crafted a replica of it made from LEGOS if we asked him to.
So, what brought on this wash of nostalgia? It was the sight of the iPod Retro Mini Speakers in those telltale primary colors.
Just one look, and we were transported back to the days of avoiding sports at recess and dreams of shanking Susie Baker so we could take her Easy-Bake Oven.
But memories aside, these handy speakers are just what you need for turning your iPod into a mini Boom Box.
Let’s just hope your co-worker in the next cubicle is up for an eight-hour marathon of “Womanizer.” (The chorus is really tricky.)
