We’ve never needed a reason to drink. Give us some Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill, and we’ll let you go to second base. Why of course red wine goes best with your Salisbury steak lunch. It’s always five o’clock somewhere!
That said, our new year’s resolutions to hit the gym more, to save some cash and to recoup from the holidays have made our hours a little less happy.
What’s a bitch gotta do to get a drink around here?
Praise be to the Virgin Daiquiri that National Beer Day is just around the corner…in Iceland. Good enough for us!
Hey, Mr. Beer, come on over and have a drink.
Allow us introductions. Mr. Beer is one of the most popular do-it-yourself breweries around. He offers a few types of kits – ranging from introductory to Brewmaster – to practice your craft.
You can easily navigate his online rolodex of nearly 200 recipes. Plus, he has easy training materials, bottles, labels, and accessories to make you the king of beers.
But the main reason we support Mr. Beer is that he’s fun. Sure, the local pub in your gayborhood can be fulfilling, but sometimes that dog-and-pony show gets tired. Instead, why not invite over a few friends one evening, play some board games or watch TV, and share your latest and greatest malt-and-hops concoction?
Not only are you a completely original and totally fun host, but you’re getting your best pals drunk. Isn’t that what friends are for?
Oh, and Iceland’s National Beer Day is March 1. Mark your calendars!
Kits start at $40
