Legend tells of a dark and scary place called the Super Wal-Mart where groceries and clothing cohabitate with car parts and optometrists. We think it’s just an urban legend. Really, can you imagine buying a shirt the same place you buy a pack of hot dogs?
It’s not that we don’t believe in inter-retail relations, we just think certain things should have their own separate stores. But on the other hand, if one store were to combine say really fabulous clothes, ultra-hip furniture and fab artwork, we would be all for it.
And apparently we weren’t alone, as storeowner Jason Moore has brought together three of our favorite things in his Plano boutique Fusion Home Fashion. Combining trendy men’s and women’s clothes along with clean, contemporary furniture and works from local artists, Fusion provides more than enough ambiance to soothe our savage shopping beast.
And the two-story space is just the beginning, as the store carries an even greater inventory online. In fact, were headed there to pick up something right now. We need a distraction to get our mind off another retail horror story. You know, the one about the store where everything costs one dollar.
