Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Culture Club

It’s kind of scary how many things gay men and teenage girls have in common. We realized this as we stood in line at OrangeCup with a bunch of 15-year-old cheerleaders wearing shorts with their Uggs and text-messaging each other even though they were standing mere inches apart. They were simply giddy as they awaited their frozen yogurt treats.

And once we tasted our first bite of OrangeCup, we understood their enthusiasm.

Frozen Yogurt has come a long way since its “I Can’t Believe It’s…” days. Now, FroYo needs to actually taste like real yogurt to make the grade. And at OrangeCup, their tangy blend of live and active cultures is the perfect blank canvas for adding an array of delicious toppings.

Go healthy with fresh fruits and nuts, or relive your cavity-riddled childhood with the addition of Fruity Pebbles or Cap’n Crunch. And if the plain yogurt isn’t your style, help yourself to Züm, which has the added tang of freshly squeezed orange juice. Or taste the flavor of the Amazon with the “It” fruit of the moment, the Acai berry, which is surprisingly full of protein, and as Oprah tells it, magical powers!

The vibe at OrangeCup is hip and very earth-friendly. In fact, if you separate your trash, there’s a cute little machine that’ll give you a nickel back for your trouble. Sure, it’s not much, but as often as we go, it’ll soon add up enough to buy a new Jonas Brothers poster for our bedroom.

See, we really are just teenage girls at heart. Only bitchier. If you can believe that.
