Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Grab Some GrAss

Extenuating our decadent lifestyles is such a chore that it regularly calls for a few… well, decadent cocktails. It’s a conundrum.

So you can imagine, then, the excitement that brews when a movement comes along that makes us feel healthier. The no-trans-fat trend, for instance, has us sucking down French fries as if there were a glory hole in our dining room. But it’s healthy! No tranny fat!

Now, thanks to GotWheatGrass.com, we can feel better about our love for libations, too.

While we never quite imagined it a mixer, the company has sold us on the idea of wheat grass cocktails. We weren’t afraid of trying the odd-sounding drinks – after all, parties frequently run out of mixers, forcing us to use our remaining brain cells to whip up something creative that’ll make Jack go down a bit easier (pun intended).

Creative, yes; delegated to a worst-case scenario drinking option, no – having tried the Coconut Grass cocktail, we’ve decided wheat grass beverages are too classy and tasty to be compared to any frat parties we’ve attended with pledges named Jack.

Besides, only last week did our cruising workout partners tell us that the post-gym wheat grass shots we enjoyed weren’t actually shots of alcohol, like we had believed. Of course, this means we can’t blame all of those after-workout back-alley trysts on being drunk.

Now if GotWheatGrass.com could only come up with a wheat grass lube to make us feel better about that, too…

Here are a few of our favorite wheat grass cocktails from www.gotwheatgrass.com:

1 Part Jamaican Rum
Fill tall glass with crushed iced. Pour in honey wheatgrass tea, pineapple juice and Jamaican Rum. Stir. Garnish with pineapple chunk.

Coconut Grass
