When we book hotels online, we always do our research to make sure what we’re seeing is actually what we’re getting. That goes for the hotel’s amenities, location and most importantly, gay-friendliness. A recent story on The Huffington Post reminded us that not everyone does their due diligence when booking hotels or posting properties as “gay-friendly”, turning some dream vacations into nightmares.
At PinkTraveler.com, when we review a hotel, you’ll know it’s gay-friendly because we’ve stayed there and put them to the test. But even then, we wouldn’t blame you for asking around, posting an inquiry on Facebook or simply calling the hotel and asking them point-blank if they have a problem with gay guests.
Just a friendly reminder that gay-friendly can sometimes be just to get in your pants (which is where you keep your wallet).

Together, we can put an end to people trying to get their slice of the gay travel dollar undeservedly!
