As you read this, you’re either waiting for the turkey to come out of the oven or you’re already stuffed beyond comfort. But there’s one thing that’s unavoidable when the clock strikes midnight and that’s the fact that the holidays officially begin at the final chime.
And we’ve got two great things to do this weekend to get you in the right mood, guaranteed.
A Christmas Carol At Up To 99.9% Off
Dallas Theater Center is having its own Black Friday special. Tomorrow evening, November 26, head to the Kalita Humphreys Theater at 5:30 p.m. to pay what you want (as little as ONE PENNY) for a ticket to tomorrow night’s performance of the spectacular production. It’s sure more festive than pulling some woman’s hair in a fight over a $10 laptop at Best Buy.

BOUGH WOW At Lee Park
Designer trees, holiday lights and fireworks? We’re all over this Sunday’s BOUGH*WOW event. There will be gifts for purchase, an abundance of hors d’oeuvres and holiday beverages, as well as a live DJ before Lee Park comes to life under the glow of 10,000 LED lights and a dramatic fireworks display. Proceeds benefit Artreach-Dallas, a non-profit organization that provides access to the arts for the economically disadvantaged, the disabled and the elderly.
November 28, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
