Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Today’s Deal: See Leslie Jordan For Just $40

Today, we have a star-studded deal for you – everyone's favorite pocket gay, Leslie Jordan, will be in Dallas Thursday, Dec 30, for a one-night-only performance of his hysterical irreverent comedy routine, “Leslie Jordan's Church Revival.”

Raised a Southern Baptist in a highly conservative, deeply religious atmosphere, Jordan became famous for his diminutive yet boisterous characters in such television shows as “Sordid Lives,” “Boston Legal” and “Reba.” But we know and love him best as Beverley Leslie, Miss Karen Walker's arch-nemesis on “Will & Grace.”

But, wait, there's more! Our good friend, actor-comedian Paul J. Williams will make a special appearance as Sister Helen Holy. Plus, it all takes place at the Sara Ellen & Samuel Weisfeld Center, the beautifully restored 600-seat hall of the former First Church of Christ, Scientist. (Our first time in a church in years!)

All proceeds benefit Legacy Counseling Center, which provides individual and group therapy to HIV-positive people and their families. Legacy also operates Founders Cottage, a seven-bedroom house that provides 24-hour care for critically ill AIDS patients in a home-like setting.
