Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Etsy.com is one of those strange web sites for which we’ve developed a strong love-hate relationship. You truly can find some amazing handmade merchandise, but for every gem, there’s one of these. Or this. And we don’t even have the words for this.

But we have found something recently that we really, really like. We do a lot of traveling, so we’re always on the hunt for new conveniences, or in this case, something completely personal. It’s a hand-made dopp kit for toting all your toiletries to far-off lands. (Truth be told, we need at least three of these to tote all our anti-aging, anti-graying, anti-hair loss elixirs and potions!)

The bag is nice and roomy and rinses clean inside and out in case you have that post-flight lotion explosion that coats everything in a nice creamy mess. The designer hand makes each one, then customizes with your name or initials. You can even select the color of the bag and other options. Just contact QueenBee55 through her Etsy page and ask her what she can do. It takes some time, but it’s worth it. (Current orders are being taken for February delivery).

The bags are only 30 bucks and she ships in the U.S. for a flat rate of $3. Not bad. Plus, they’re made in USA so you know your money’s going directly to an individual crafting these especially for you, not some tween in China strapped to a sewing machine.
