Swarovski Crystals and Men. Separately, we love them both. Together, thoughts race through our head of being trapped in a room of Siegried and Roy-level homosexuality. Hummel Figurines. Rainbow wind chimes. China tea sets. You know how some gay men’s homes are indistinguishable from a grandma’s? That kind of gay.
Well, we’re happy to report that Phosphor has created a new watch line called Appear that is the coolest marriage of bling and a men’s accessory we’ve seen this side of the Swarovski Crystal hunting rifle we had custom-made for our last camping trip.
Photos don’t quite do this watch justice. It’s a timepiece that has to be seen to be believed. In fact, click here to see the watches in action on the web site. It’s still not as cool as it is in person, but you’ll get the drift.
Bascially, through the magic of Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital (M3D) technology, the tiny crystals on the watch face actually change position to form the numbers. It makes this cool clicking noise when the numbers morph, and watching the time change is mesmerizing. Just what we need, another distraction from our long work days of YouTube watching, lunch martinis and spa treatments.
The Phosphor Appear is sophisticated enough to wear with your finest black tie gear, but hip and cool enough to accompany jeans and a t-shirt. Each has a genuine leather band in black or white and a few different options for the case itself. And for the simplest of show-stopping accessories, you can turn off the time feature completely and just have a solid orb of crystals.
To perfectly match our Swarovski codpiece.
$199 – $249 (as shown above, $210)
