Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Weekend Winos

Next to sleeping, eating and having crazy monkey sex, drinking wine is one of our favorite things. So a full weekend of wine and food tasting is Pinot Noirvana. And with the Dallas Wine & Food Festival, we don’t have to book an expensive trip to California, France or Italy to sample some of the greatest wines in the world.

There are plenty of events for every budget, so check out the schedule for the ones that speak to you. One of the best values is tomorrow night’s Texas Salute!, a two-hour party at Dallas Farmers Market featuring dozens of wineries, restaurants and food purveyors all from the Lone Star State. If you get there early and hit all the exhibitors, it’s like dinner and happy hour all rolled into one.

Saturday features chef demonstrations and seminars if you want to learn how to do some amazing entertaining tricks on your own, or wait until Sunday for the grand finale, Taste of the World. This is where the “food” part of the Dallas Wine & Food festival really comes into the spotlight. Just check out the menu and you know this is one place you want to spend your evening! (And one that will surely call for Double Spanx!)

We like to think of Dallas Wine & Food Fest as one last chance to binge before we really get down to business for summer and the debut of our new mesh Speedo. See, now we all have something to look forward to.
