Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Big. Harry. Fun.

It’s hard to believe we were just seven years old when the final Harry Potter book came out, but we’ve done a good job catching up thanks to the legendary film series.

For all the Potterheads out there, today is a sad, sad day as the final chapter unfolds on screen over two-and-a-half hours.

But Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is such a solid conclusion that wraps things up so splendidly, it’s not even a sad goodbye. The 3-D is pretty decent, too, giving the magical world depth that 2-D just can’t provide. That said, it’s not the BEST 3-D, but way better than most of the recent 3-D releases. Besides, it’s worth the extra cost just to have a pair of 3-D glasses mimicking the signature Harry Potter round specs.

The finale (unless J.K. Rowling wants to buy a planet and needs some extra cash) centers on the jailbait wizard’s battle with the Dark Lord Voldemort (pictured) in order to save his friends, and ultimately, the world. It’s an epic conclusion that is one of the best endings to a film series since Leprechaun 6: Back 2 tha Hood.

So farewell, Harry and friends. We will see you in our dreams. Well, not the redhead – but everyone else.
