We’re still finding party horns in strange places and dealing with a serious case of Veuve Clicquot acid reflux. Yet 2012 isn’t waiting for us to catch up. Case in point, tonight’s premiere of what we’re pretty sure is the first official new reality show of the year.
Fresh off his stint as second fiddle to Rachel Zoe on her reality show, our newest infatuation, Brad Goreski, gets his own unscripted series, It’s a Brad, Brad World.
The hour-long show follows his quest to rise above his former design assistant status to full-fledged celebrity stylist. Central to many storylines is his handsome boyfriend, Gary Janetti, a sitcom writer for The Family Guy (with Will & Grace also under his belt). Together with their dogs, a garage full of couture and a revolving door of design assistant candidates, the couple learns to deal with the uncertainty of Brad’s new solo endeavor.
We never watched The Rachel Zoe Project, so we’ve never really had Brad on our radar. But now that he is, we’re obsessed. He’s the perfect combination of nerdy, funny and smokin’ hot. Few reality stars these days make us laugh out loud, but Brad has become an expert at stroking our funny bone.
The full-season previews hint at plenty of personal and career drama, but somehow we think our dear Braddy will rise above. If not, we’re happy to give him a shoulder to cry upon.
Or any body part, really.
