Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Summertime For Hitler

Swastikas and chorus girls. What could possibly be wrong with that?

Get your fill of Nazi humor, over-the-top dialogue and outrageous lyrics as only Mel Brooks could conceive. That’s right, the super-duper thespians at Uptown Players are proudly presenting the outrageous musical that took Broadway by storm – The Producers.

Starring B. J. Cleveland, Brian Hathaway, Tony Martin, Brad Jackson, Peter DiCesare and Whitney Hennen, the tale of two money-hungry producers putting on the most notorious theatrical flop in history is filled with non-stop laughs and one catchy tune after another.

Uptown Players’ recent forays into big Broadway productions have been smashing successes (and quite impressive to boot), so we expect nothing less from this high-profile production. They’ve already had to add performances to keep up with demand.

Besides, any musical with a song that proudly encourages to “Keep it Gay” is tops in our book.

And trust us, our book is filled with plenty of tops.
