Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Creepy. Kooky. Jazz-Handy.

Everybody loves a heartwarming story of outcasts trying to make their way in the world.

This is not that story.

But there are plenty of outcasts, to be sure, in the Broadway musical, The Addams Family.

From the creators of Jersey Boys comes a new chapter as Wednesday Addams finds love. Normally, this would be great news, but for parents Gomez and Morticia, normal is bad. And this boyfriend is 50 shades of regular.

Macabre hilarity ensues.

The show starts tomorrow and like any good mummy, we’ve got a date night all wrapped up for you. Not only do we have a pair of opening night tickets (entry below), but also dinner for two at the Music Hall at Fair Park. Thematic highlights include Morgue Mix Salad, Decomposed Salads, Lurch’s Legumes, pork loin and rib-eye as part of “A Normal Dinner” (a reference to one of the show’s hit songs), Monster Mash Potatoes and Death by Dessert.

So snap to it, brush up on that theme song and visit The Addams Family soon.

After all, ooky is the new black.
