Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Gay Out West

If you didn’t get your fill of Gay Pride last month in Dallas, never fear, queers!

There’s plenty more rainbow-colored goodness where that came from at Tarrant County Pride, with activities all weekend long.

It all starts tomorrow with a big, gay parade on Main Street (heading south between Weatherford Street and 7th Street) from noon until 2:00 p.m. From there, follow the last float and join fellow revelers at a street festival in General Worth Square until 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, kick back at Trinity Park for a Gay Pride Picnic complete with live music, food, drinks and a friendly bout of tug-of-war thrown in for authentic picnickiness.

Best of all, if you live in Dallas, attending Pride in Fort Worth provides you the opportunity to really let your freak flag fly because nobody there knows who you are. Unbridled pride is the most exciting, after all.

Besides, just think of all the new faces that’ll pop up on your Grindr app.
