Regular TV just isn’t gay enough.
Sure, there’s The New Normal, RuPaul’s Drag Race and Hillbilly Handfistin’, but that’s about as queer as it gets.
Today, that all changes. No television required.
Introducing Gwist (TV with a Gay Twist), a new YouTube channel specifically serving the LGBT community and those who have an equally sophisticated sense of humor, superior intellect and uncanny good looks.
Founded by Matt Farber, founder of Logo TV, Gwist will bring tons of original and established programming to your computer, tablet or smartphone. From sketch comedy and game shows to a sexy scripted series that takes place in a men’s steam room, there’s something for LGBT peeps of all types.
Our favorites already include Miss Richfield 1981“Q and You” (a comedic advice show, above), The Randy Rainbow Show (celebrity spoofs and sketch comedy) and, of course, Steam Room Stories. We’d watch just about anything featuring hot guys in towels. Just think how much better the ratings would be for Meet the Press if they adopted that format.
Other series that we’re dying to sample are The Untitled Spousal Equivalent Game with Judy Gold (a game show where gay and straight couples face off) and So Wrong! With Louis Virtel (contrarian analysis on pop culture icons).
So log on today and start cruising the options.
