Sword swallowing, whip cracking and knife throwing. Sounds like a typical Saturday night for us, but we can be a little conservative that way. Tomorrow night, however, anyone in Dallas can experience a world where fire eating, burlesque dancing and glass walking are completely routine.
Join us at Pretty Things Peepshow, an extravaganza of epic proportions, where old-fashioned vaudeville is brought into the 21st century with a little bit of kink, a little bit of naughtiness and a whole lot of talent.
Starring Lil Miss Firefly, a 27” tall dynamo, you’ll see things here you never dreamed possible and won’t soon forget. The burlesque acts range from traditional 1930s style to classic rock-and-roll. There will be great escapes, incredible contortionists and feats of amazing strength. Audience participation is encouraged in some acts, too.
It could be the most daring and dangerous Saturday night since we chose to dine in at Taco Cabana at 3:00 a.m. The only thing missing was somebody juggling chainsaws. And that’s probably for the best.
