Battle Of The Decades

Prepare for a major flashback. Or, if you’re under 25, get ready for a little time travel.

This Saturday night, the 1980s wage war on the 1970s in the original “Disco vs. Retro” theme party at Lord Byron’s Panoptikon. For six hours, dance yourself silly to the best Trash Disco and New Wave music anywhere in Dallas.

This monthly party takes place in the old Club One space, which is solely responsible for fueling many a fond memory for every Dallas club kid who ever lived. Keeping in touch with the venue’s history, the party welcomes one of the most diverse crowds of gays, straights and every shade in between.

Era-appropriate attire is encouraged and hula hoops and roller skates are also allowed.  Your only dilemma is whether to break out the bell bottoms or leg warmers.

Then get ready to party like it’s 1982. You know, when Prince was partying like it was 17 years in the future.
