Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Salty, Salty Rims

Today is National Margarita Day, or as we call it around our house, Alcoholic Christmas.

So to celebrate, we’re going to make a batch of amazing Margaritas with a new super-premium, estate-grown tequila we’ve just discovered called Partida Tequila.

It’s so incredibly smooth, it’s almost a shame to add lime juice and agave nectar, but history tells us that too many straight tequila shots makes our panties get loose. And though that’s a fun time for some, our Mom doesn’t always appreciate the naked photos we drunk text late into the night.

Our only solution to slow our roll (because not drinking would just be crazy) is to daintily sip one ultimate Margarita after another.

And because we asked nicely, our amigos over at Partida even sent us the easiest recipe ever for a cocktail you’ll never forget.

Well, unless you black out.

The Partida Margarita Martini
1 ½ ounces Partida Tequila (Blanco or Reposado)
1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice (the juice of one whole lime)
¾ ounces Partida Agave Nectar (to taste)
¾ ounces pure water
Shake all ingredients with ice in standard bar shaker.
Taste. Add additional lime juice if you prefer more tartness; add more agave nectar for more sweetness.
Serve in glass on rocks. No garnish, no salt.

Tequila Partida Blanco: $50
Tequila Partida Reposado: $58
Tequila Partida Anejo: $67
Tequila Partida Elegante: $350
