Remember how bored you were that first week of January when nothing was happening in Dallas? Man, we’d give anything to travel back in time for just one night on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a Revenge DVR marathon.
But we’re not about to complain about our busy social calendar these days because there’s just so much to do out there in our great city. Besides, we’re never going to turn down an opportunity to help a charitable cause. Especially because we always meet somebody cute.
At the top of our agenda this week is the Bloomin’ Ball 2013 Launch Party at the Workroom (above) just on the other side of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. It’s all a sneak peak at the big event in April.
There, you’ll get to meet the Bloomin’ Ball’s co-chairs and honorary chairs, while sipping wine and snacking on light hors d’oeuvres. Both this party and the main event benefit the AIDS Interfaith Network (www.aidsinterfaithnetwork.org), one of our community’s greatest organizations.
It all takes place tomorrow night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. So you can still make it home in time for Smash. And maybe a bowl of popcorn, too.
