After college, Spring Break for most of us is just another name for “Week We Have to Work While Others Have Fun.”
But this year, we’re going to make some new Spring Break memories that have nothing to do with beer bongs, cheap Mexican motel rooms or bikini-clad women trying quite unsuccessfully to get into our pants.
It all happens tonight as the Dallas Arts District throws a Spring Break Block Party. Flora and Harwood Streets will be closed down and filled with art lovers enjoying food trucks and tons of outdoor activities that don’t involve wet t-shirts.
Best of all, general admission to the Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center will be free all night long.
Before it’s all over, if you’re still in the mood to do something crazy, try streaking through the museums. It’ll give you a new Spring Break story, as well as hundreds of others.
Including the police.
