We’re suckers for big brown eyes, a sturdy build and sloppy wet kisses. Even from a dog.
That’s why we’re so excited for the second annual Kibble & Cocktails fundraiser, quickly becoming the hottest ticket in town.
Sponsored by Barking Hound Village all of the evening’s proceeds benefit DFW Rescue Me, one of the greatest animal organizations in the Metroplex, having already saved close to 1000 dogs in just a couple years of existence.
What’s really cool is that you’ll have such a great time at this swanky party that you won’t even realize how much good you’re doing. Last year’s inaugural event raised more than $15,000 and this year’s space at Maison Kiki can hold nearly three times as many people.
Once you’re past the velvet ropes, you’ll enjoy delectable bites from Bridge Bistro, Cado, FT33, Lombardi’s, Jorge’s Tex-Mex, Nick & Sam’s, Nosh, Steel and Dread Head Chef. William Grant & Sons will be creating signature cocktails to pair with each dish from their vast portfolio of premium liquors, while Bottled Poetry Wines and Deep Ellum Brewery serve up a little vino and beer.
There will be fabulous prizes, too, via a silent auction raffle. Yes, you read that correctly. Unlike a typical silent auction where the highest bidder wins, here anyone can walk away with a coveted item. Of course, the more you spend, the greater your odds. But we love not having to be Señor Money Bags to snag something cool.
It’s all hosted by Cybil Summers from KRLD, 105.3 The Fan and plenty of surprises are in store throughout the evening. Plus, you can even take home a new furry best friend.
Oh, and adopt a dog, too.
