It wasn’t so long ago that the look of raw fish was enough to give us nightmares for weeks, let alone actually eating the freshly slaughtered Nemos. But now, we’re head over tails for sushi in all its glorious complexities and varieties.
And there’s nothing quite like eating some of the most delectable creations from master sushi chefs (something you probably won’t find behind the sushi counter at your local grocery store). In Dallas, it doesn’t get much more spectacular than Nobu.
But it does get way more interactive.
Now you can reserve a three-hour sushi and sake class where you’ll learn everything there is to know about rolling your own sushi, making sticky rice and creating a memorable dining experience right in your own home. A really affordable dining experience if you have your own aquarium. (Guppy sashimi rocks!)
During the class, you’ll make several types of sushi, from traditional rolls to the more complex. You’ll even learn about sake and get to taste Nobu’s exclusive brand, flown in directly from Japan just for their restaurants.
The next class is April 6 and available through Gilt City Dallas. Private sushi classes are also offered if you really want to impress.
Just leave your pet goldfish at home. We’re pretty sure he’s not sushi grade.
