Dallas has a surprising number of hot gay newsmen on the airwaves. But few ever reference their sexuality or even talk about LGBT topics during their nightly news segments.
That’s why we love Doug Magditch and The Gay Agenda, his CW33 Nightcap News feature each Wednesday. He’s good to look at, for sure, but his lighthearted, entertaining approach tackles current topics head-on without being too one-sided.
Past topics have included those red Facebook equality icons, the Vatican’s gay sauna, out-of-the-closet football players and, of course, every possible angle of the same-sex marriage debate.
We applaud CW33 for devoting valuable air time to give the LGBT community a relevant voice. But we give Magditch a standing ovation for putting a face on the issues that matter to us most.
He’s like a sexy Barbara Walters. With bigger biceps.
