Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Mobile Food Court

Siri strikes again.

While asking our robotic personal assistant to locate a place to make some friends this weekend, she misunderstood our request.

Sure, “Saturday Night Truck Fest” rhymes with what we were looking for, yet it’s a completely different type of eating out than what we expected.

But, as is often the case, Siri’s mistakes are our gain. Now we have plenty of dining options for the weekend at Texas Food Truckin’ Fest at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. There, dozens of mobile eateries will park and serve for two full days of meals on wheels. A portion of proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, too.

The lineup is impressive and a $10 day pass ($12 for two days) gets you access to purchase nearly anything you can imagine putting in your mouth.

Including a hot little Vietnamese number (above).

We just hope there’s a truck there with sticky buns, too.

Because that’ll save us a trip to our original party.
