Break out the giant hats and head to Lone Star Park this Saturday for a local celebration of the Kentucky Derby.
That, of course, means donning your best seersucker suit and/or gigantic floppy hat.
And speaking of gargantuan face shaders, we’ll be there in an official capacity to judge a Derby hat competition with prizes awarded to Most Stylish and Most Creative. The winner in each category walks away with $500. (That’s a lot of trips to Jo-Ann Fabric, you crafty fiends.)
There will be honorable mention prizes, too.
Not including a big wet kiss from us.
Some might even say that’s better than the five hundred bucks.
