Just when we finally took down our last oinky green pig, scored one final 186-point word and drew something nasty for our cousin in Toledo to guess, a new iPhone game has lured us back in with another way to be anti-social at brunch.
But that’s ok. The world is in danger.
Well, more like RuPaul’s profitable and popular Logo reality franchise, but we’re on board to save that, too.
In RuPaul’s Drag Race: Dragopolis, out today, an evil drag queen named Apocalypstyk is out to sabotage RuPaul’s Drag Race and also kidnap the hunky men of her pit crew.
It’s up to you to jump into a wig and heels and come to the rescue. Along the way, you’ll have to scratch and claw other drag queens, jump over drag trash and fight all the little drag minions attacking you.
We love the game’s little touches, most of all. Like the word “tucking…” appearing on the screen while the game is loading. And RuPaul’s sassy commentary the whole way through as you succeed or fail at tasks.
There are lots of 99¢ upgrades, including ways to customize your character, embark on new adventures and even recruit celebrity drag queens Manila Luzon, Yara Sofia and Pandora Boxx.
It’s about time we have a drag heroine we can worship and revere. Because Ms. Pac-Man was just a little too butch.
