In the beginning, there was man. Then woman. Then snake. And because some men love to play with their snakes (above), drama almost always ensues.
Grab a seat and get immersed in the action of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Delights, or Love, a play by Alejandro de la Costa being staged at the cozy Stone Cottage Theatre presented by MBS Productions.
The company presented its world premiere and received the 2010 Column Award nomination for Best New Play of the Year, so that’s a pretty solid reason to attend besides the promise of nudity, which leads us into temptation every single time.
But nekkidness is also one of the weapons in the arsenal of Serpentum, the snake as personified in human flesh with a goal to seduce Adam and/or Eve in one politically incorrect, religiously loose retelling of everybody’s favorite gardening story.
Seating is always limited at Stone Cottage, so order your tickets now. Just know that every seat is the best seat in the house, and as up-close-and-personal as you can possibly get to the stage in a theatrical setting.
Without being one of the naked actors, that is.
