Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Party With A Purpose

There’s a little thing in the universe called karma. Put simply, it means that for every frivolous drunkfest you attend this summer, you need to balance it out with a party that helps make the world a better place.

Tomorrow night, you have the opportunity to add a tick mark to the latter category.

It’s an evening at the Sorrento Luxury Residences benefiting the good works of Jonathan’s Place, an emergency shelter for abused, abandoned and neglected children.

They’re planning a big trip to the zoo in July and the kids are in need of some very basic items to make their experience even better. All they ask is that you bring sunglasses for children, high-SPF children’s sunscreen, reusable water bottles, hats for ages 4-10 and children’s books.

In return, you get to tour the model residences while enjoying food, frosty beverages, gift bags and prizes. It’s one of those rare cases where you receive as much as you give.

In some circles, that’s called being versatile. But donate a lot and we’ll totally think you’re tops.
