Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Xan Du Attitude

The best Broadway musicals can be summed up in five words or less.

Melodramatic oversinging in cat costumes.

Raunchy puppets vs. Gary Coleman.

Disfigured man navigating the sewers.

This week, another one of our favorites rolls into town as Addison’s WaterTower Theatre begins previews of the hit musical comedy, Xanadu.

Taking audiences back to 1980s California, the story follows Greek muse Kira as she travels to earth to inspire Sonny, a (hot) young painter, to not only find his voice, but find true love and build the world’s first roller disco.

Or, as we prefer to call it…

Sexy guys in short shorts.
