Great. Just what we needed: another vice.
It’s bad enough that we’re already hooked on Sprinkles Cupcakes. And even worse since they opened the 24-hour cupcake ATM, which gives us never-ending access to feed our insatiable Red Velvet addiction.
But now, things are really about to go downhill for our obsessive-compulsive personality. That’s because Friday marks the debut of the first Sprinkles Ice Cream outside of the two original California locations.
We’re pretty sure a stint in frozen-treat rehab is in our very near future.So we might as well go crazy and order as much as we can before they wheel us away in an XXL straightjacket.
First up, a scoop each of Cap’n Crunch, salty caramel, peanut butter cup and triple chocolate. All piled in a red velvet waffle cone for a little crunch.
Then, a second-course cupcake ice cream sandwich, most likely butter pecan smashed between two chocolate cupcake tops. Maybe mint chip between vanilla. Haven’t quite decided.
Our cookie course selections will include salted oatmeal cornflake, peanut butter pretzel chip and snickerdoodle with a chocolate chip chaser for a little old-school snacking pleasure.
Finally, for dessert, a brownie sundae with gooey layers of butterscotch topping.
Lucky for us, Equinox is just down the street.
Hope we don’t break the elliptical.
