Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Asher: Dancer, Prancer, Vixen

Welcome to our newest reality obsession: Lifetime’s Million Dollar Shoppers, one of the best guilty pleasures on TV right now.

It stars several professional shoppers who are each assigned clients needing clothing for a specific occasion (red carpet, prom, big gay wedding), but it’s Dallasite Gregg Asher (above in the floor-length skirt) who truly steals the show.

We’ve known Gregg for years and he’s one of the nicest guys out there, but his designer womenswear look is one that definitely turns heads, even on Manhattan streets among the most jaded New Yorkers. Together with Tayler Carson Sandvick (above with her crotch pressed firmly against his), he tackles one case at a time like some sort of Versace-clad superhero.

Not only does he have the fashion sense to succeed, but the sass to keep his client list of entitled bitches from walking all over him. He’s quick to call them out in person, but the candid interviews between segments are where he really lets loose.

The show’s a great peek into the lives of the super-rich, but it’s hard to feel sorry when they cry or storm off set because the clothes that have been picked up for them and brought to their homes aren’t exactly what they had in mind.

Makes us want to take a six-inch Christian Louboutin Daffodile Suede Platform Pump and stick it right in their eye.

But that’s another reality show altogether. Million Dollar Shoppers: SVU, perhaps.
