Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Doggie-Style Santa

We can totally relate to dogs. Because we, too, have celebrated Christmas on all fours. Down on our hands and knees for hours, moaning and groaning, just wishing there were an easier way to make our gay uncle love us.

Yet to this day we’ve never found the diamond that fell out of his pinky ring last year while he played carols on the piano. And somehow he still blames us for suggesting the fast-paced staccato notes of Up on the Rooftop that caused the 1/2 carat to go flying.

So this year, we’re finally going to make it up to him by taking his dog to get a commemorative photo with Santa Claus, now possible thanks to the Holidays for the Hounds pop-up shop.

There, the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) has arranged for professional photographer Mark Nardecchia of Shagly Photography to snap pics the hairy bundle of joy holding your hairy bundle of joy. Walk-ins are encouraged, but appointments are recommended.

But there will also be GALT-benefiting gifts for every dog and cat on your list with favorites including Thunder Shirts, toys and decorative collars. There are even presents for humans, ranging from Reidel glassware to cozy loungewear for sitting by the fire.

All proceeds benefit the great work of this doggie rescue group, so your purchases will not just bring a smile to faces, but also a wag in many a tail.
