Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Religious Experience

If there’s one play to take your right-wing, fundamentalist Christian family members to this holiday season, it’s NOT The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told.

Or maybe they’ll leave with a different view on homosexuality after seeing the Uptown Players production of this hilarious biblical satire from Paul Rudnick. It really could go either way.

But just to be safe, we advise going with friends first.

That’s because the play rewrites history, beginning with the creation of the world and the first couple to inhabit it—Adam and Steve. Soon, they meet Jane and Mabel, who also believe they’re the first couple on earth.

It’s Bible stories like you never heard them in Sunday School (or epic Russell Crowe blockbusters).

Of course, we’re getting front row tickets just to get a peek at what’s behind those fig leaves.

It promises to be a revelation of biblical proportions.
