When we hear the word “Mask,” we can’t help but think of Cher. And also that movie she did with Eric Stoltz back in 1985.
But now, we’ve got something new to fill our imaginations as we prepare for House of DIFFA Masquerade 2014, presented by DIFFA/Dallas on Saturday, March 29 at the Omni Dallas. Prepare your senses for an evening of high fashion and some of the most extravagant costumes ever to walk the runway at a DIFFA show.
You’ll be transported to a closer-to-home Carnival of Venice with 2,000 gays and LGBT admirers. As always, DIFFA’s signature designer jackets will be available to the highest bidders with proceeds funding grants for HIV/AIDS service organizations in North Texas.
The full evening features a pre-event cocktail party, silent/live auction, seated dinner, fashion spectacle and over-the-top after party. There are still great seats (and full tables) available, so now’s the time to start thinking of your own fashionable secret identity.
Emphasis on fashionable.
Because those shiny, dollar-store, leftover Mardi Gras masks simply won’t do.
Tickets: $350-$2500 (depending on table) at eventbrite.com
