It took us six years to learn the Moonwalk.
And if you look closely, you’ll notice that we’re really just walking backwards quickly while flailing our arms as a form of distraction.
So we’re impressed with anyone who can legitimately dance.
But when a group of dancers takes the art form to levels never imagined, it’s a wonder to behold.
That’s exactly what you’ll witness when UK-based Motionhouse makes their Dallas debut with TITAS in association with the AT&T Performing Arts Center. The performance art/dance company creates multi-sensory productions that nearly defy description, but are entirely unforgettable.
In Scattered, they perform on a huge curved floor then incorporate film and special effects to add an otherworldly dimension to their already dazzling dance maneuvers.
It has to be seen to be believed.
And if you let us know in advance, we’ll take Moonwalk requests in the lobby.
