Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Food, Wine & A Killer View

It’s almost Memorial Day weekend and though many of us are headed out of town, some of us have also chosen to stay behind and enjoy the city. But there’s a better way to experience Dallas than sitting at home binge-watching Revenge or (gasp!) doing yard work and laundry.

Consider a staycation instead. One that involves plenty of wine, food, jazz and a cozy room with somebody else on-hand to make the bed and tidy up the bathroom.

It can all be yours as SĒR Steak & Spirits and the Hilton Anatole team up with 103.7 KVIL for their inaugural Food, Wine & Jazz Festival.

Sure, you can buy tickets to events a la carte, but the best value of all is the two-night package for $399 (or just $429 if you prefer a suite). That price gets you a Friday and Saturday night stay in a gorgeous room, plus admission to all the weekend’s events.

Just to go all math nerd on you for a bit, if you purchased each event for two people without the hotel room, it’d cost you $370. Last time we checked, we couldn’t even get one of those rooms-by-the-hour for $29, let alone two nights at a Hilton.

It all begins with a welcome reception and jazz performance by Fingerprints on Friday night. Among Saturday’s five scheduled festivities are a blind wine tasting, an afternoon food-and-wine pairing and a nighttime event with fine cuisine from SĒR Steak & Spirits, plus plenty of wine and that killer view of downtown. Sunday, wake up late then catch the champagne brunch.

Best of all, you’ll still have Monday to recuperate.

And detox.
