If you think size doesn’t matter, we’ve got news for you. Gigantic news.
On Saturday, June 21, HELP (Health Education Learning Project) of Fort Worth presents Big, Long & Proud, a dance event in Arlington.
It’s Big (18,000 square feet), Long (five hours on the longest day of the year) and Proud (because it’s Pride month, of course!).
Best of all, tickets are free if you get an HIV test at a partner location or take the 2014 Gay Men’s Health Survey. Deadlines have been extended until the day before the event, but there are just a few hundred tickets left, so sign up now.
You can also donate $25 for a ticket, but you must do that in advance. No tickets will be available at the door.
The event features music from DJ Manny Lehman with an opening set by Dallas’ own DJ Ryan Tiffin, plus drinks served by sexy bartenders from Bar10.
Special $99 room rates are available at the Sheraton Arlington until June 13, too, because nobody’s going to want to drive back to Dallas or Fort Worth at 2:00 a.m. when the last song ends. And even if you do, we don’t recommend it!
By attending Big, Long & Proud, you’ll be one of 1,000 gay men receiving free HIV testing or completing a health survey that will provide valuable information to HIV organizations.
Knowing your status is essential.
Dancing the night away is just a bonus.
