Finally, something to come out of Texas that doesn’t involve a Bush. (Well, depending on how judicious you are with your manscaping).
We were so excited to discover Dallas-based Blue Collar Underwear because it’s been a while since we’ve seen innovations in design this sexy. While many undie businesses simply change the colors and fabrics of existing designs, the Blue Collar team really thinks outside the bulge.
Take their most basic offering, the Fireman Brief (above). In addition to the nice bit of contrast stitching on the 95% cotton/5% spandex design, they’ve added a small panel of contrasting mesh on the hips for just a hint of peek-a-boo naughtiness.
Where they really make us stand at attention is with their line of jocks. A traditional design gets a twist thanks to straps being replaced with thinner bits of fabric made to give your butt a lift.
A pink-and-white sports jock prominently features a semi-transparent nylon-spandex mesh that’s as good at wicking away moisture as it is drawing attention.
But for us, the real standout is their line of colorful Party jocks. Because, well, we’ve all had non-sporting occasions (big gay dance parties, Day 2 as a contestant on Survivor, baby showers for which we never want to be invited back…) to wear nothing but a jock. These multi-color numbers are low-rise, feature a signature mesh panel and utilize a stretchy microfiber to really highlight your assets.
It’s the best Blue Collar experience we’ve ever had.
Well, not counting that truck stop in Abilene.
