Movies about demons, ghosts or aliens don’t scare us a bit. (Unless they’re child demons, ghosts or aliens. Then we’re terrified.)
But one movie stands above all for the psychological scarring we suffer to this day. It’s a little fish tale called JAWS.
We think about it practically any time we get wet. Even in the shower.
So as part of our safe-to-go-back-in-the-water therapy, we’ll be attending Alamo Drafthouse’s Master Pancake vs. JAWS a week from Sunday (it often sells out, so that’s why we’re giving you plenty of notice).
Comedians John Erler, Andrew Rosas and David Jara join together to poke fun at the most iconic shark movie of all time (sorry, Sharknado) with rapid fire jokes and witty observations (think of it as Mystery Science Theater 3000 performed live).
Perhaps if we can find humor in the bloody monster-of-the-deep flick, we’ll finally be able to swim in the sea.
And skinny dip happily ever after.
