Street festivals and outdoor markets can have a hard time differentiating themselves from one another. They all have food trucks. They all feature local artisans. They all have live music.
What they don’t all have is the only kind of dumpster diving that’s socially acceptable. (Though dumpster floating is probably safer.)
Join us Saturday at the Design District Market where there’ll be the requisite mobile munchie purveyors (Bombay Street Food, BellaTrino Pizzeria, The Guava Tree Truck, Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe, Say Kimchi, The Great Australian Meat Pie and Steel City Pops), brews from Community Beer Company, and dozens of vendors selling everything from art to vintage goods.
But it’s the dumpster pool that really gets us wet. In fact, we plan to splash around in it all day.
Sure, it won’t be the first time we’ve spent a Saturday in a dumpster, but it’s definitely the first time we won’t be called trash for doing so.
