Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Command Oh!

Lil Buck 3

While we’re content spending the spring tiptoeing through the tulips and doing pliées among the pansies, few people jump to their feet to applaud our dance skills. Or lack thereof.

Which is probably why we’re always drawn to anyone with genuine talent, whether it’s tearing up the dance floor at S4 or onstage with a ballet troupe.

Well, the biggest night of dance of the season is almost here. Next Saturday, May 16, TITAS PRESENTS, in association with the AT&T Performing Arts Center, presents the 21st anniversary Command Performance.

The stage bursts to life with classical and contemporary dance with plenty of surprises and spectacle. This year, special guest hip-hop dancer Lil’ Buck will dance two works, including his incredible version of the famous ballet solo Dying Swan from the ballet Swan Lake.

Dream Catcher 2

What we’re most excited about is a new duet that TITAS PRESENTS has commissioned. Unlike the traditional male-female duets, TITAS PRESENTS wanted to explore the male energy of a man-on-man duet. World-renowned choreographer Adam Hougland created the piece and it’s going to be a study in masculine beauty in its many incarnations.

Now that we have your attention, get tickets before they’re gone.
