So it comes as no surprise that LGBT people are treated differently in the farthest corners of the planet, but attitudes aren’t all negative.
Tonight, take a journey with lesbian couple Jennifer Chang and Lisa Dazols as they embark on a 342-day trip to more than a dozen countries to interview LGBT leaders and uncover stories of hope and joy in a new documentary, Out & Around.
The film is narrated by actress Abbie Cornish and features music from many top artists, including Mary Lambert and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tegan & Sara and Moby.
During their nearly year-long adventure, they witness first-hand the dramatic changes that are taking place in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Nepal, Philippines, and Taiwan.
