St. Patrick’s Day for us is more about the Irish Whiskey.
Or more specifically, Tullamore D.E.W.
We love it because it’s so much smoother than other whiskeys, and much like us, three is its favorite number. That’s because it’s triple distilled, triple blended and triple matured.
We love it simply on the rocks, but it also plays nicely with lots of ingredients for some spectacular cocktails.
We’re exiting an Old Fashioned phase right now and transitioning to Manhattans, thanks in big part to the Tullamore whiskey version (pictured right). The recipe is quite simple, but the result is decidedly complex.
Lucky for us, we’re well past our green beer phase.
