This Sunday, everyone in Dallas will be talking about a big resurrection.
Easter in Lee Park is back!
Just in time for the event’s 50th anniversary, Lee Park and Arlington Hall Conservancy and the City of Dallas are bringing back one of the city’s best traditions after a brief absence.
There’ll be live music, an Easter Egg hunt with the Easter Bunny and the ever-popular Petropolitan Pooch Parade. Pets can participate for just $10 and compete in categories including Best in Show, Most Creative and Best Easter-Inspired Outfit.Don’t have a dog to enter into the competition? You can adopt one on-site from one of several adoption organizations and have one ready for next year.
Otherwise, pack a picnic, bring your well-behaved pooch or just show up and blanket-hop from one group of friends to another.
We’re just so excited to have this great event back on our big gay calendar.
Because at least one Sunday Funday should take place somewhere besides a bar.
