We can always find a good reason to crack open a bottle of champagne.
But aside from Trump losing in a landslide, there are few better reasons than raising money for cancer charities.
That’s why we love BubblyQ, the largest fundraising celebration for Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC). Led each year by celeb chef Dean Fearing at his Ritz-Carlton restaurant, the event brings together some of the best chefs in North Texas for an evening of sophisticated grazing.
A dedicated Bubbles Bar boasts a variety of sparkling options, plus guests can enjoy craft cocktails from the legendary Eddie “Lucky” Campbell (Parliament, Knuckle Sandwich) for a change of pace.
There’s a silent auction (natch) and live music to round out this festive celebration of life and hope for a cancer-free future. Since 2008, YTAC has donated more than a million bucks in support of the fight against cancer and a huge chunk of that funding comes from this one event alone.
So pull up your cowboy boots, throw on a sports coat and toast to the beautiful fall weather, time with friends and a never-ending supply of champagne.
At least until 10:00 p.m.
